Homeless Wombat is the second artwork in my series about Wildlife Rescue and Wildlife Rescuers. In this series, I aim to shed light on the stories of different species of animals in a more gentle and less disturbing way than some of the harsh images of injured or deceased wildlife that can be found online.

This particular artwork, Homeless Wombat, is intended to tell the story of a wombats struggle to survive on the streets after being abandoned or injured. Through the use of soft, cute, and cuddly imagery, I hope to soften hearts and encourage people to think more deeply about the consequences of their actions, such as driving too fast or leaving injured animals on the side of the road.

At first glance, this artwork may seem like a cute and whimsical image, but upon closer examination, it carries a powerful message about the importance of wildlife rescue and the work of wildlife rescuers. Through my art, I aim to inspire and engage viewers, and to encourage them to consider the impact of their actions on the natural world.
