As a photographic artist, I am constantly seeking out new and interesting subjects to capture in my art.

The Kookaburra is a beloved and iconic Australian bird, known for its distinctive call and its place in the country’s cultural history. By placing it in the context of a vintage steam train, I sought to create a sense of nostalgia and connection to the past. At the same time, the image captures the Kookaburra’s resilience and adaptability as it makes itself at home in an unexpected environment.
